This is Yorkshire's - and the country's - most cancelled train service

A commuter service between Harrogate and Leeds has been revealed as Britain's most cancelled train.

Figures revealed today show the 7.13am service from Harrogate to Leeds is Northern's most cancelled train service - and the highest among every other train operator in the country.

An investigation by The Sunday Times, using data provided by ontimetrains.co.uk, revealed the service had been cancelled 28 times between December 15, when the new timetable was introduced, and February 22.
