Police helicopter apologises for noise over Leeds after apprehending two burglars

NPAS Carr Gate, a police helicopter which flies all over Yorkshire, was in Garforth in the early hours to assist in the search for suspects after a spate of burglaries in the area.

Hide AdA post on the NPAS Carr Gate Facebook said: "Good Morning from your day crew, firstly apologies for the noise over Garforth first thing this morning, we were assisting in a search for suspects following a number of burglaries in the area, 2 persons are currently in custody."
Of course, residents were only too happy for a bit of noise in the name of crime prevention.

If it was my loved ones who were missing, you could make as much noise as you needed for as long as you needed. I never got why people complain about the noise. If you lift it's for a reason, not cos you were all bored and fancied a quick heli trip!"
