Leeds United have endured familiar frustrations is too many Championship games this season.

Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at home to Blackburn Rovers saw all too familiar problems arise for Leeds United. Daniel Farke’s side dominated possession and created more than enough chances to win it, but a combination of wasteful finishing and excellent goalkeeping kept them at bay before Sammie Szmodics’ 82nd-minute sucker-punch.

Leeds have been one of the Championship’s most exciting teams this season but, for Whites fans especially, also one of the most frustrating. A wealth of attacking talent means chances galore for Farke’s men but they have often been left to rue missed opportunities and could pay the price come May.
