Located around seven miles northwest of Leeds city centre in Yeadon, Leeds Bradford Airport is the largest airport in Yorkshire and those travelling to and from the site have a host transport options.

What are the car parking options?

LBA has seven car parking options in total: Meet and Greet, Short Stay, Mid Stay, Long Stay, Premium Short Stay, Mid Stay 2 and Pick Up and Drop Off.

Car parks operate a ticketless system - a camera records vehicle entry and exit and an appropriate tariff is requested when you leave.

What bus services run to and from the airport?

Bus services run daily from early morning to late evening, including weekends and bank holidays. 

FLYER buses are fast and direct, from Leeds, Bradford and Harrogate, run by Transdev.

  • FLYER A1: Leeds City Centre to Leeds Bradford Airport via Kirkstall, Horsforth and Rawdon.
  • FLYER A2: Harrogate to Bradford via Apperley Bridge, Leeds Bradford Airport and Huby.
  • FLYER A2 or A3: Bradford to Leeds Bradford Airport via Shipley, Guiseley and Yeadon.
  • FLYER A3: Otley to Leeds Bradford Airport via Pool in Wharfedale.

What trains run to and from the airport?

While no train services serve Leeds Bradford Airport directly, connecting bus services with stations in Leeds, Bradford and Harrogate, mean national train travel to and from the airport is very accessible.

Leeds station has the most platforms in the north of England making regular, nationwide services widely available.

Can you travel by bike to Leeds Bradford Airport?

Cycling to LBA is possible from one of the surrounding area’s many cycle routes. The airport is roughly 8.5 miles from Leeds city centre and 8 miles from Bradford.

Bicycles may be left chained up in any sensible area of our public car parks excluding the Pick Up & Drop Off car park and the terminal front itself.

If you arrive by motorbike you are able to book a car parking space in any of the airport’s two-wheel-friendly car parks. Motorbikes are not exempt from payment of parking tariffs and should park in a full parking bay.

Can I travel by taxi?

Leeds Bradford’s official taxi partner Arrow Cars operates an easy to book taxi drop off and pick up service right to the front of the terminal.

Wherever you live in the country, Arrow Cars can transport you to and from LBA and fares can be checked before booking. Pre-book is available online, on the phone or in person at the airport office.
