Whether you’re looking for a quiet pint or a place to dance all night long, there’s something for everyone on a night out in the city. We asked Yorkshire Evening Post readers for their suggestions of where to visit on the ‘best night out’ in Leeds – and they didn’t disappoint.
Here are 17 must-try places to visit, according to people who live here.
13. The Stone Roses Bar
Gareth Stothard recommended a visit to the Stone Roses Bar for a night out in Leeds, with its soundtrack of guitar-fuelled indie, from stadium fillers to the best breakthrough artists. 14. Leeds Town Hall
Of course, a night out in Leeds isn't all about booze and dancing. Many of our readers suggested live performances at some of the city's most prominent cultural venues, including Leeds Town Hall - which is undergoing a huge refurbishment and is set to reopen for events in 2024. Jill Foalks said her top night out in the city is: "A choral concert at Leeds Town Hall (when it finally reopens!) and a nice meal." Photo: James Hardisty
15. The Grand Theatre & Opera House Leeds
Many of our readers suggested a trip to the theatre and Liz Brown recommended a show at Leeds Grand Theatre and Opera House. From Richard O'Brien's Rocky Horror Show to Strictly Ballroom: The Musical, there is plenty to look forward to at Leeds Grand this summer. Photo: Ian Forsyth/Getty Images
16. Leeds Playhouse
